Major: Psychology
My name is Kira Kanakar, and I’m in my senior year majoring in psychology. One of the main reasons why I joined THP was what it stood for and all the organization has done to spread awareness. Since social media is such a huge part of everyone’s life, it ensured that the message was spread and understood. What I usually do in my free time is dance or play video games.

Minor: Korean Studies
My name is Rachel, and I’m a senior biology major with a minor in Korean studies. Some of my hobbies are learning new recipes and journaling. I joined The Humanology Project because I particularly became more interested in mental health after seeing how COVID affected the youth in increasing rates of depression and anxiety. I also wanted to help promote and raise awareness about mental health in our community.
